I am a fair guy, but this reporter has seen enough of the Junior AAA hockey league in Quebec officiating. If my son was playing hockey in this league, I would ask him to play in Ontario.....(read more)

FINAL SCORE
Condors done in by Longueuil by Richard Tardif
Longueuil scored early and fast and never looked back. It was 4-0 after the first 12 minutes of last evening’s second game of the first-round playoffs, and though it ended 7-4 in favour of the visiting College Francais de Longueuil, the game was not as close. Condor goaltender Tartre was pulled out of the net after the second Longueuil goal. Longueuil played faster than the Condors, and at times the Condor players didn’t appear to be supporting each other, especially in the offense zone. Calvin Smith was guarding Longueuil’s top scorer Etienne Archambault, yet on this evening other Francias players were playing fast and hard. Game three is Friday in Longueuil. Puck drop is at 8:00 p.m.
