Cougars 6-1 win over Condors
It was a penalty filled game, but the Condors did a good job of killing them, particularly in the third with 11 minutes of that period spent defending in their zone. The Cougars did score twice on nine power play attempts. The start of the game was robust, with Condor players aggressive and hitting anything in a white shirt. No scoring in the first, a 1-1 tie early in the second and then the Cougars took over from there, forcing turnovers in the Condors' end. This lead to the Condors being outshout 46-24, and losing by a 6-1 score. The Condors are 15 and 24, holding in 11th position, nine points ahead of the Ste. Agathe Montagnards. Granby is in town on Sunday. Start time is 3:30 p.m. at the Sports Complex.
